Hello to all the connoisseurs of Bad Golf Emails. It's been a while since I posted one, but that doesn't mean they don't still hit my inboxes from time to time. It's just...I might be laughing too hard and forget to post. I thought maybe I was getting too old for this nonsense but then thought, nah, let's keep it going until golf courses wise up and either hire someone to get it right (like me), or forever make fools of themselves in public.
Here is the latest, from "Jenny." She's invited us to a football watch party - cool! But she forgot to tell us where it is. In fact, this email is considered illegal spam without an identifier, address, phone, or distinct unsubscribe button. The email comes via foreUP software, so maybe it's produced by their "marketing services" (he says mockingly), or they don't bother to build email templates for their clients (yes, I'm mocking again).
"Coverage" should not be capped, and "prime time" should be hyphenated. Minor stuff. But, the image is good.
It's just, WHERE THE HELL WOULD I GO TO SEE THAT AUTOGRAPHED HELMET AND ENJOY A 2-BUCK DRAFT?
